The ongoing writing/directing/producing talents of Tyler Perry have produced yet another blockbuster
phenomena in the theater industry. “Madea’s Class Reunion” unmistakably demonstrates that spirituality is
a major application to solving issues of hurt and despair, infidelity, suspect and fear. “Madea’s Class Reunion
is the last play in the Madea quatrain. This time Tyler portrays not only “Madea” but also Dr. Willie Leroy.
Madea’s Class Reunion will make your own class reunion seem real boring. The production is energetic and
full of stellar performances by a remarkable supporting cast. Cheryl “Pepsii” Riley, (Stephanie) a seasoned
actress of theater demonstrates diversity on stage and off. The singing artist extraordinaire is currently
working on a new CD and plans to publish a poetry book. Shandra Young, (Emma), a performer with excellent
theatrical abilities has been with all Perry’s productions. The heartfelt gospel singing of Tamala Mann (Cora)
has touched the audiences in each of Perry’s “Madea” productions. David Mann (Mr. Brown) a tremendous
vocalist from Kirk Franklin & the Family has a flair for getting on Madea’s nerves. Team players with
accomplished attributes include Pam Taylor (Trina); Judy Peterson (Diana); D’Wayne Gardner (Horace);
Kinnik (Ann); Ahmad Jamal McGhee (Victor); Terrell Carter (Corey); and Selmo (Clarence).
