2004 Touring Cast Credits

CATHY RIGBY (Peter Pan) earned a Tony nomination when she starred in the 35th Anniversary production of Peter Pan on
Broadway in 1991. She has, to date, logged more frequent flyer miles than any other actress in this role. She made her musical debut
in 1981 as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Subsequently, her multiple talents have been lauded on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers
Theatre as the Cat-In-The-Hat in Seussical the Musical and in the national tour of Seussical the Musical, Annie Get Your Gun and
productions of Meet Me In St. Louis, South Pacific, Paint Your Wagon, They’re Playing Our Song and The Unsinkable Molly Brown.
Rigby’s dramatic television movie credits include the “Perfect Body,” “Hard To Read,” “The Great Wallendas” and “Triathlon.” A two-
time Olympic gymnast, Cathy Rigby is the first American woman to win a medal in the World Gymnastics competition and holds 12
international medals, eight of them gold. After participating in World renowned gymnastics Cathy worked with ABC as a gymnastic
commentator for 18 years. ABC-TV’s venerable “Wide World of Sports” named her one of America’s Most Influential Women in
Sports. Now, figure this one out! In this Peter Pan production Cathy is mother to “Nana,” the dog, “Jane,” Wendy’s daughter, “One
of the Twins,” and “Indian/Pirate.” She is sister to the Assistant Prop Coordinator, auntie to “John,” sister to the General Manager,
and sister-in-law to Tom in concessions. Cathy is mother in law to “Tiger Lily,” who married her oldest son in the last national
Broadway tour. She is also a loving Nana to Jude and Hailey, future lost boy and girl. Last but not least, Cathy celebrated 22 years of
marriage on September 11th to the Producer. In 1994, Cathy and her husband, Tom McCoy, assumed the responsibilities as
Executive Producers of the McCoy Rigby Series at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts in La Mirada, California, allowing
them to produce first-class theatrical productions and mount national tours from their own backyard including this tour of Peter Pan.
Cathy is currently participating with multiple charities including, the Special Olympics, the Long Beach Aquarium by the Sea, and the
Peter Pan Children’s fund. Cathy wishes to send her prayers to the brave Men and Women serving in Iraq, including her nephew Jeff
Jr.

HOWARD McGILLIN (Mr. Darling/Hook) has worked extensively in the theatre as well as in film and television. He recently starred
in the world premiere of Stephen Sondheim's Bounce at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.
C., where he was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for his performance. On roadway and in London's West End, his starring roles

her academic skills, working towards her M.A. in counseling. She holds a B.A. in psychology from UCLA.

GREYSON SPANN (Michael Darling) Greyson began his acting career at age three for a Carl’s Jr. radio commercial.  This may seem
extraordinary for most three year olds, but not for Greyson.  He took to the acting profession and entertainment industry like a duck
to water.  And no wonder, it is truly in his genes!

Greyson’s grandmother is Helen Geller, a very popular and familiar actress to both stage and screen.  Helen has been featured in
several McCoy/Rigby productions including her memorable role as Hazel Hunt in ‘Radio Gals’. Greyson’s grandfather is the world-
renowned concert violinist, Irving Geller, who has only recently retired as Associate Concertmaster for the Los Angeles
Philharmonic.  Greyson’s mother, Valerie, is also a concert violinist and has herself performed for several McCoy/Rigby productions.
Greyson’s father, Patrick, is a talented media artist and produced several student films while in college before completing his
Doctorate in Clinical Therapy.

When Aaron (Greyson’s older brother) was born, it was as though he had been born to act.  His first acting job was at age 4 in a
Shell Oil television commercial and, ten years later, enjoys an active career.  Greyson has always enjoyed mimicking his big brother
and watching him perform. So, when Greyson got his first turn at a mic he knew just what to do, and did it VERY well.  But, what
really excited him was the applause!  At the conclusion of Greyson’s first studio session, the cast and crew showered Greyson with a
spontaneous round of applause and accolades.  Greyson was, and is, forever hooked!

Greyson’s credits include Divine Secret’s of the Ya Ya Sisterhood, Daddy Daycare, Runaway Jury, Law & Order Special Victim’s
Unit, The Soprano’s, Joan of Arcadia, and Cold Case.  Greyson is also the voice of Michael Darling for Disney’s ‘Peter Pan on Ice’!
Also, school age children will enjoy listening to Greyson as the voice of Flounder for Disney’s The Little Mermaid “Ariel’s Sea
School” Learn Through Music by Fisher Price.

When Greyson is not acting he is busy being an everyday kid.  He loves going to school and playing with his friends.  He looks
forward to Sunday School (even though it’s on Tuesday afternoon!) and loves to sing and dance.  He likes to water the garden and
grow vegetables (lot’s of tomatoes!).  Some of his favorite activities are playing in the park, video/computer games, watching
cartoons, and playing with toys - trains, cars, planes, transformers, Lego’s, Gundam models, and building forts out of Lincoln logs
with his brother and doing battle!

GAVIN LEATHERWOOD (John Darling, Michael u/s) began his theatre career as a Lollipop Kid in The Wizard of Oz. Peter Pan
marks his second production with McCoy Rigby Entertainment. The first two include his performance in the Children’s Chorus of
Evita and the role of “Bert” in All My Sons.  Gavin has won a first place trophy for tap dancing and for competition in Tae Kwon Do.
He plays baseball and the electric guitar and is in the fifth grade at Brookhaven Elementary School.  Gavin travels with his father Tom
and sends home his love to Mom and sister, Chloe.

PATRICK RICHWOOD (Smee) Yes, he's “that guy”-that face from Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries, Beaches and dozens of
commercials. Patrick’s career began as a pirate in Joseph Papp’s The Pirates of Penzance.  Now, three series, five pilots, 22 films
and 28 stage productions later, he's a pirate again! Theatre is like Neverland… you never really grow old.
