CINEVEGAS FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES ADVANCE SALE OF PASSES ONLINE APRIL 11

LAS VEGAS – Passes for the 2006 CineVegas Film Festival will be available for
purchase online beginning Tuesday, April 11. In addition, individual movie tickets will
be available for purchase for $10 each when the box office at Brenden Theatres at
the Palms Casino Resort opens on Monday, May 22. Individual party tickets are not
available for sale.

“In response to the rising popularity and visibility of CineVegas over the past couple
of years, we thought it only made sense to sell passes for the festival earlier this
year,” said Trevor Groth, Director of Programming for the CineVegas Film Festival.
“This will help us respond to the record attendance we expect from the industry,
filmmakers and festival-goers for the 2006 festival.”

The following seven different passes will be available for this year’s festival:

Pass A: Valid June 9-13, this pass will get the holder into all films and all passholder
events happening the first 5 days of the festival. This pass costs $300.

Pass B: Valid June 14-17, this pass will get the holder into all films and all passholder
events happening the last 4 days of the festival. This pass costs $300.

Pass C: Valid June 9-17, this pass will get the holder into all films and all passholder
events happening during the festival. This pass costs $500.

Premiere Party Pass: Valid June 9-17, this pass will get the holder into all Jackpot
Premiere films and all passholder events happening during the festival. This pass
costs $200.

Student Pass: Valid June 9-17, this pass will get the holder into all films and
passholder events happening the Monday-Thursday of the festival. This pass costs
$100.

Local Pass: Valid June 9-17, this pass will get the holder into all films and passholder
events happening the Monday-Thursday of the festival. This pass costs $100.

Local Student Pass: Valid June 9-17, this pass will get the holder into all films and
passholder events happening the Monday-Thursday of the festival. This pass costs
$50.

All passholders must be seated at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled start times to
guarantee admittance to screenings. A, B and C passholders must RSVP for the
opening night film, closing night film, and all tributes. To purchase passes online
