This film is one fun party.  It reminded me of my own son and his friends.  I think most people can relate
to the storyline, even though it is about a writer on the night of his 30th birthday.

A coming of age story that most people today can relate to.  Conrad Stevens decides to face adulthood
on the night of his 30th birthday.  He has lived all his life in the same suburban community.  Some of his
friends still live in the same community.  He lives in a house called "The Palace."   Some of the residents
of the house are friends and some are not, including the owner of the house.  All of this makes for a very
funny night.

The beer is free flowing, there are people passed out on the stairs and some funny antics by the
partygoers to one of the residents.  Seems these antics are the same thing they do every year.  Stevens
seems to avoid changing his life each year, but this year is different.

One friend has left the community, and that storyline is a very good one.  It shows how this person had
to deal with being different from others and the community finding out.  He let it hurt him, but his friends
still cared about him and that is a wonderful part of this film.  I think that parts of this film show how you
can overcome things in your life as long as you have friends/family to help you through those hard times.

I do not want to give away these parts of the film as you may have a chance to see it and it would ruin the
fun and dramatic parts of the film.  Some of the problems are those that any age group can relate to not
just the 30s generation.

Joe Egender is really great in the role of Connie (Conrad Stevens) as his friends call him.  He narrates
his thoughts throughout the film in a bathrobe.  See the poster above for a look at how Connie looks
throughout most of the film.

The other actors are also quite good and I found this to be a very charming film.  Another fun part of the
film is at the end; you see what happens to main people.  It is a very cute ending.

This film is trying to get distribution and we hope it does as we loved the film.  It has a storyline that is
relevant to what is happening in the world today. We recommend the film for a fun night at the movies!
