Nancy Meyers - “Director of the Year”
Nancy Meyers received the "2004 ShoWest Director of the Year" award.  Meyers is known for her work in many
areas of the film industry.  Not only is she a talented director and well established in the film world, but she is also
a writer and producer.  She has a reputation for her first-rate writing, directing and producing many sophisticated
romantic comedies.    Meyers' first film was the "Private Benjamin," starring Goldie Hawn.  She produced and
co-wrote this film with Charles Shyer (her husband).
