We Will Rock You Paris Resort in Las Vegas Photos from Hollywood Rock Walk Induction and Gala Opening After Party Sept. 8, 2004

The mayor of Las Vegas Oscar Goodman proclaimed September 8, 2004 "Queen Day" in honor of the band being inducted into the Hollywood Rock Walk located at Sunset Blvd. outside the Guitar Centre in California.
Roger Taylor and Brian May put their handprints in cement to commemorate all four members of "Queen" prior to the after show party at the Paris Hotel. There was a special plaque to honor Freddie Mercury (who passed away in 1991) and one with John Deacon's name on it. Deacon was not present for the ceremony.

Brian May showing us his black hands. The cement was black. They wore surgical gloves so they would not get the cement on their hands after all they had to perform on stage later.

The after show party was a blast! The best party we have ever been to in Las Vegas. It was at the Paris Hotel's pool deck it started around 9:00 p.m. and ended way into the wee hours of the morning of September 9th. Chris Thompson's band opened the entertainment.
Jason Wooten (alternate Galileo) sang, "Tie Your Mother Down" and he rocked! Kacie Sheik (alternate Scaramouche) also sang and she rocked too!
Brian May asked in this funny voice, “Is there a Mr. Loaf here? Meat Loaf came on stage and he sang “Johnny B. Goode.” Roger Taylor was playing drums and then came down to sing, but before he sang he said, “It’s been a long time, since we’ve rock & rolled!” I do not remember all the songs that were sung. But it was amazing!
It was so great for me seeing Brian and Roger on stage again after all these years. About 23 years ago I saw “Queen” in concert in Los Angeles, CA. So this was a great time. I missed Freddie Mercury, but we all felt he was there in spirit.
